D/F Machine Specialties® MIG Threaded Contact Tip has 7/16" Dia and is ideal for use with aluminum wire of size 3/32". High quality, high performance current tip is made of CuCrZr chromium zirconium copper that provides a minimum of 3 to 1 less down time for welding operations and 1/8" set back for convenience. It is a threaded style current tip that ensures proper contact with electrode inner body when installed to the MIG gun. Contact tip locks in place when twisted and offers better electrical conductivity with increased surface contact. Large size contact tip features thick-walled design that acts like a heat sink conducting heat away from the arc source. Longer length provides built in wire straightening. It is compatible with all D/F® HTC, HTM, CTW, CW-T, MTW gun or barrel models and is suitable for MIG welding applications.
