Stoody® CP2000 7/64" Dia Hard Facing MIG Welding Wire comes in a 500 lb payoff pak and has been optimized to result in exceptional weldability for a broad range of multiple as well as single layer applications. MIG welding wire is a specially formulated chromium carbide alloy that is designed to produce a high concentration of small primary chromium carbides in uniformly distributed austenitic matrix. The high concentration of small primary carbides can improve toughness and wear resistance over conventional chromium carbide alloys. It can be applied to manganese, carbon and low alloy steels. It is used for FCAW process and for ID pipe. The deposits can be used in hot wear applications up to 900 deg F and cannot be machined or forged.
