Hobart® Pipemaster® 70 E7010-P1 Low Alloy Steel Electrode with 1/8" Dia uses DCEP (Direct Current Electrode Positive) type current and is recommended for use in drill platforms, pipeline welding using downhill travel, shipbuilding, storage tanks and welding of high-yield pipe steels. Electrode features quick-starting that offers easy arc striking and increased welding efficiency. It is designed to weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead all positions. Electrode also features excellent vertical down faster travel speeds. It provides an excellent arc stability and superior arc drive for fantabulous penetration. Wonderful wash-in maximizes fusion of joints and light slag provides quick as well as easy cleaning of weld bead. It is designed for vertical-down welding, single-or multi-pass, on 5L, 5LX and X-52 through X-65 pipes. An excellent all-position, cellulosic mild steel electrode is perfect for a strong, dependable, X-ray quality weld. It delivers the arc stability and is designed to reach the best penetration possible. It helps to improve your welding efficiency. Electrode comes in a hermetically sealed container of 50 lb.
