Hobart® Pipemaster® Pro-60 Hermetically Sealed Container Carbon Steel Electrode is a all position, cellulosic, quick-starting, mild steel electrode specially designed to produce an efficient X-ray quality, accurate welds in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions by featuring good penetration along with easy weld lay-in and smooth bead appearance. 1/8" Electrode comes with light slag design that makes cleaning, removal easier provides good wash in and is ideal for single or multiple pass, DCEP used to weld with API 5L steels grades like A, B, X-42, X-46, X-52, X- 56 with the root pass on material up to X-80. Electrode gives splendid stable arc with good vertical down arc drive that makes arc striking easier by featuring quick travel speeds and is employed in various applications such as construction, general-purpose fabrication, shipbuilding, out-of-position X-ray welds, maintenance, pipe and plate welding. Electrode is sold as a 50 lb hermetically sealed container.
