Harris® Stay Brite® lead-free solder 3/64" round x 1 lb. spool in a 4 lb. box is engineered to provide a strong, ductile connections on copper, brass, steel and stainless steel. The silver color is also a good color match to stainless steel. It is a eutectic filler metal with a single melting temperature. This low temperature, rapid melting characteristic promotes capillary flow and less base metal distortion and oxidation. It conforms to NSF/ANSI Standard 51 for food service equipment, NSF/ANSI Standard 61 for Drinking Water System Components and NSF/ANSI 372 and the US Safe Drinking Water Act amendments.
