Drill bit with 2 7/8" spiral flute has a 135 deg split point that helps to penetrate hard material without a pilot hole and produces small chips to reduce clogging. It provides hardness for wear resistance and has a midrange drilling depth. It features heavy-duty nitride surface treatment that helps to increase the hardness for drilling stainless steel and other hard metals. It is suitable for cotter pin hole drilling and cross hole drilling in heads of bolts.
