Tweco® Robotics Nozzle Assembly with Eliminator® features a 3-piece design and is patterned to work with robotic/fixed automation MIG guns. Nozzle Assembly with flush to 1/16" tip recess features a 5/8" Dia bore and has a G7 silicone insulator that renders electrical insulation from gas diffuser. Nozzle Assembly with straight design is suitable for medium to heavy-duty welding applications up to 600 A and is applicable where shorter electrical stick-out is required. Nozzle Assembly insert is formed from a solid brass that permits machining the internal threads to match the gas diffuser. Nozzle Assembly housing is formed from tellurium copper alloy bar for effective heat dissipation. Nozzle Assembly features bottle shaped geometry and does not need an additional insulator. It features straight I.D bore that permits proper cleaning of the sidewalls ensuring good gas flow. It is perfect for use with a Nozzle Assembly cleaning station integrated in robotic weld cells.
Features
Recessed Tips are generally used for higher heat applications where longer electrical stick-out is required, or in cases where the nozzle may touch the work piece (tack, spot and stitch)
Flush Tips are generally used where a shorter electrical stick-out is used sometimes resulting in shorter/tighter arc lengths
This brings the tip closer to the work piece
Protruding Tips are generally used when welding open root pipe or any joint that requires the welder to get into a tight weld joint
However the down side to this is the chance of arcing the tip to the work piece, which could damage front end parts resulting in downtime needed to replace
Straight ID bore at the front end of the nozzle - allows proper cleaning of the side walls to ensure good gas flow through the nozzle
Ideal nozzle to use with a nozzle cleaning station generally incorporated in robotic weld cells
3-piece nozzle design, includes: Nozzle Housing - Machined from tellurium copper alloy bar
Nozzle Insert - machined from a solid brass allow and machining the internal threads to match the gas diffuser
Nozzle insulator - made from G7 silicone material, providing the electrical insulation needed from the gas diffuser
Easy identification - Part No. rolled stamped on the outside surface
Designed to work with robotic/fixed automation MIG guns
Bottle shaped geometry
3-piece design - does not require an additional insulator
Applications
Used in medium to heavy duty welding application up to 600 Amp
