Being a part of the D&I Council is an enourmous responsibilty. Together we have the opportunity to learn, teach, and help set the tone for D&I goals and solutions in order to be a more attractive employer to the diverse marketplace that we serve.
Diversity, Inclusion, and Equality are critical values for human progress worldwide, and I'm excited to be part of further ingraining those values in our Airgas culture and workplace as we strive to be the best we can be.
As a leader, a woman and a mom, I am invested in supporting opportunities for everyone on my team where they feel safe to be themselves and contribute, paving the way for a better business place today and in the future for my kids.

Every associate brings their own unique voice to Airgas, every day. It is the responsibility of all of us to build a workplace where everyone’s voice matters and where we work together to foster change and empower collaboration. Together we’re better, not just for Airgas as a business, but for each of us individually. I am honored to have the chance to contribute. I am so excited about being part of the Diversity and Inclusion Council! I am passionate about creating a collaborative culture that values individual skills, inspires confidence, and empowers staff members to deliver exceptional results. Being part of this community gives me an opportunity to work as a team to continue to grow and learn about how to continue creating such culture. Coming from immigrant parents I know firsthand the challenges of navigating personal and professional growth in an ever changing workplace. I am excited to continue creating awareness of the opportunities available on a local level and within Airgas as a whole. As a leader, I believe that it is an important part of my job to provide networking options and create opportunities for our associates. This would include fostering growth and helping to establish a roadmap to overcome statistical disadvantages to achieve their goals of development and growth within the company. Diversity and inclusion is the backbone of success. Blending different cultures, ideas and prospective will allow us to think outside the box and push us to the next level. Being on the D&I council allows me to have a voice for the minorities I represent. As well as show them that change is possible and Airgas is evolving culturally What does being a part of the Diversity and Inclusion Council mean to me? To be a part of creating an environment where women understand they can thrive in the industry! I want to make a difference on diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and being a part of the DEI council for Airgas gives me an opportunity to drive change that benefits all Airgas associates. As a working mother I have been discriminated against both intentionally and unintentionally. My goal is to increase awareness so that we can respect and value all differences even if we do not understand them. Ethnic, gender, gender identity, age, religion, sexual orientation, cultural, and mental or physical differences are all part of the undeniable human melting pot, which makes our lives, and our work lives, so much the richer. I am so proud to promote diversity awareness and to instill a culture of equality and inclusion here at Airgas, where everyone can feel safe, respected, and valued. We are stronger together! Different perspectives strengthen and enable Airgas to continue to evolve as a well-rounded optimal employer and supplier. I am excited to be a part of the D&I Council to help encourage growth within the Airgas community. I am looking forward to helping bridge the gap within gender equality, diversity and inclusion within upper and lower management. Airgas is an organization full of growth and career opportunities. For the past four consecutive years, Airgas has been recognized by Military Friendly® for our commitment, effort and success in creating sustainable and meaningful benefits for the military community. Airgas earned Gold Level designation in 2023, following 4 consecutive years with Silver Level Recognition. Published annually, the list recognizes organizations that are committed to serving the military and veteran community. To earn its Military Friendly Employer designation, Airgas was evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey.

With 900+ veterans currently employed by Airgas, the company continues its history of supporting veterans and military families, actively recruiting associates with military experience and working to incorporate policies and provide tools that support employees currently in the service.
